A beautiful original and romantic space to make your own on your wedding day.

Our Old Grain barn at Fishley dates back to around 1750 and was used as just that for generations storing and drying wheat and barley until 2002. In 2007 it was permanently cleared and used for its first wedding reception, ours!

We have left it as rustic as we found it and will keep it that way for you to enjoy with its old white washed walls and open red brick.

It’s a simple large open space complete with bar, glitter ball, fairy lights and a number of vintage trestle tables and props. A blank canvas for you to create your own thing, add your unique touches and styling.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies inside The Old Grain Barn. And also on the lawn outside the barn, this is classed as a duo ceremony. (An outside ceremony, with the legal formalities conducted inside).

We only offer limited dates throughout the year from April until October to keep it personal. We generally allow a week for you to set up and set down usually Wednesday to Wednesday.

The barn holds up to 200 people with two outside cattle yards complete with hay bales for kicking up your heels and chatting with friends until late in the night.

We have a music licence until midnight and must finish by that time.
